How To Complete The Optical Fiber Routing Of The Cabinet ?

Optical fiber jumpers are generally 1, 3 and 5 meters in size. What should be done when sorting out such optical fiber jumpers? How to manage the optical fiber jumper?

1. Contents and steps of fiber skipping:

Step 1: identify the optical intersection and machine room and find the light splitter.

Step 2: identify the beam splitter number.

Step 3: find the splitter port configured on the work order.

Step 4: find the port of the fiber core and fiber sequence of the optical cable accessible to the user.

Step 5: jump from the splitter port to the user's optical cable port.

2. Basic knowledge and specifications of fiber hopping:

1) The fiber jumping operation must meet the principles of neat in ODF rack, optical intersection, comprehensive box, beautiful wiring, easy operation and less space.

2) The fiber jumping length must be within 500mm.

3) The jumping fiber with insufficient length shall not be used, and the flange is not allowed to connect two sections of jumping fiber.

4) Each jumping fiber shall ensure that the radius of curvature is greater than 400mm.

5) General requirements for fiber routing:

① For the optical fiber that goes up, it shall go down the line outside the ODF frame, select the coil fiber column with the most suitable amount of residual fiber, and go up the fiber inside the ODF frame, horizontally along the lower edge of ODM and vertically to the corresponding terminal.

② One jumping fiber is only allowed to walk up in the ODF frame once (along the outer side of the ODF frame), once (along the inner side of the ODF frame) and one fiber coil column. It is strictly prohibited to wind, cross and hang between multiple fiber coil columns, that is, there shall be no fiber winding on the upper edge of each fiber coil column.

③ According to the specific situation of the site, the binding provisions shall be made after the initial arrangement of the jumping fiber.

④ All jumping fibers must be placed in the ODF rack, and placing outside the rack, flying wires and other phenomena are strictly prohibited.

⑤ The extra long jump fiber for emergency use shall be hung on the inner fiber tray according to the rules, and shall not affect the future jump fiber.
