1. Preliminary preparation

First, inform the user to tidy the cabinet without affecting the normal work of the user.

Then, according to the topology of the network, the existing equipment, the number of users, user grouping and other factors, draw the line routing diagram and equipment location diagram inside the cabinet.

Next, prepare the required materials: network jumper, label paper and various types of plastic ties (strangled dog).

2. Tidy the cabinet

Installation cabinet:

You need to do the following three things yourself: first, use the screws and nuts of the random frame to tighten the fixing frame; Second, pull down the cabinet and install the movable wheels; Third, adjust and add baffles on the fixed frame according to the position of the equipment.

Arrange the line:

Group the network cables. The number of groups is usually less than or equal to the number of cable management racks behind the cabinet. Bind the power lines of all equipment together, insert the plug from the rear through hole, and find their respective equipment through a separate wire management rack.

Fixed equipment:

Adjust the baffle in the cabinet to a proper position, so that the administrator can see the operation of all equipment without turning on the cabinet door, and add baffle appropriately according to the number and size of equipment. Pay attention to leave a certain gap between the baffles. Place all switching equipment and routing equipment used in the cabinet according to the pre drawn drawing.

Cable labeling:

After all network cables are connected, it is necessary to identify each network cable, wrap the prepared instant stickers on the network cable, and mark them with a pen (generally indicate the room number or purpose). The identification is required to be simple and easy to understand. The cross network cable can be distinguished from the general network cable by using instant messages of different colors. If there are too many equipment, the equipment shall be classified, numbered and labeled.

3. Later work

Power on test:

When it is confirmed that there is no error, connect the power supply and conduct network connectivity test to ensure the normal operation of users - this is the most important.

Document update:

Update the contents of this cabinet arrangement. Redraw the equipment layout and network cable connection diagram. The number of the equipment to be inspected and the identification of the line to be inspected shall be indicated on the network diagram. It is better to add the user name to the diagram as an item. Finally, indicate the date and informant.
